Bird Proofing
What it is
Bird proofing is designed to stop birds from nesting and settling in sheltered areas around your home. We clear existing nesting material and debris, then install physical barriers around problem areas like solar arrays, eaves, roof openings, and common landing spots.
Why it matters
Birds often return to the same sheltered areas once they've found a place to nest. Over time, that can mean recurring droppings, nesting material, noise, and buildup around the roof and solar array. Cleaning the mess helps, but closing off the access points helps keep the problem from starting over.
What Terva includes
- Existing nests, droppings, and debris cleared from the areas being treated
- Metal exclusion mesh installed around the perimeter of solar arrays where needed
- Targeted eaves and sheltered roof openings closed off with appropriate exclusion material
- Bird-deterrent spikes installed at targeted ridge lines and common landing areas where appropriate
- Solar-panel exclusion installed without drilling into the panels
- Installation debris and removed nesting material cleaned up before we leave
- Before-and-after photos of the treated areas
